Comments:

(by County)
  • CARROLL: Does exceptionally well, must stay on top of the spray program, good vine balance little adjustment needed.
  • CARROLL: Just planted looks promising.
  • QUEEN ANNE'S: Like Pinot Noir, only ripens well in 1 of 4 years. Makes a very nice wine when it does. Strong plants put out a good crop.

Recommendations:
Matures early. Clusters may have a variety of colors. Looses acidity quickly as it nears ripeness.

Considerations:
Can be made in several styles. May be ready for sale four to six weeks after fermentation.
